Contentment
Seafood, freshly selected,
carefully prepared, tastefully presented.
Not a bad start, not at all.
Colours, carefully mixed,
released at one moment, somewhat randomly.
Not too shabby, not too drabby.
Capsules, created by glass,
going up and coming down, silent contemplation.
Not too awkward, thankfully.
More food, randomly chosen,
gladly consumed, satisfying enough.
Not too impressive, yet does the trick.
Finally, a short walk in the drizzle,
a quiet way to end the night.
But none above would I remember as clearly,
as your smiles throughout the night.
And to be able to be part of it,
I am content.
