Because of Him I have become,
because of Him I am me,
because of Him I'm safe from harm,
because of Him I am free.

In every time and space I know,
at any open field or crowded room,
to me He would always show,
His smile as would the bride to groom.

Because of Him I have become,

Once after He came down to die,
for all the sins, yours and mine,

for joy of that mystery so divine.

And so now I give praise,
for this wonderous promise to earth He brought,
that after death He would raise,
raise me from all troubles wrought,
raise me past the highest mountains,
raise me to join Him in glory! Glory!
