does it take another cynic?
To understand first the makings for a cynic,
to understand first the reasons for being one,
to understand first the feeling when being one.
But in the end does it matter,in the end does it work.
Questions left unanswered,
Answers left without questions.
If time is what you need,
then time is what I’ll give.
If security is what you want,
then security is what I’ll provide.
If liking you is a crime,
then I’ll be jailed forever.
Reassurance is not my thing,
but for you I’ll best perfect it.
But in the end in the face of a cynic,
all these are for nought.
Have I pushed too hard?
Have I pushed too fast?
