Running across the fields and plains,
Green grass so cooling at my feet;
My heart sings out in joy,
For Your wondrous gift of life.

In the stillness of the deep dark night,
I seek You out in prayer;
You are the Light in my world,

Walking along the sandy path,
Waves crashing to my side;
In these I see Your face O Lord,

Because

Because of Him I have become,

because of Him I'm safe from harm,

In every time and space I know,
at any open field or crowded room,
to me He would always show,
His smile as would the bride to groom.

Once after He came down to die,
for all the sins, yours and mine,
I have lived and lived and for that I cry,
for joy of that mystery so divine.

for this wonderous promise to earth He brought,

raise me to join Him in glory! Glory!
